In case of malfunction of the "transport" function, the user should look for one of RioCard stores for technical analysis. If the defect is found, an exclusively transport card for charging the remaining amounts will be requested, and the user must return to the same RioCard store to pick up the new card after 96 (ninety-six) hours.
Visa Prepaid Function
In case of malfunction of the "Visa prepaid" function, the user must request the issuance of a 2nd copy by Brazil Prepaid channels.
In this case, the user will continue using the Card "transport" function until the balance of this function runs out. If the user chooses to fully destroy the card, he/she must request cancellation of the RioCard numbering included in the back of the Card, pay the 2nd copy service charge and, in view of the payment confirmation, he/she must unblock the card on the site www.cartaoriocard.com.br/paravoce, fulfilling the following step-by-step process:
- Provide login and password;
- Click Order Menu - Transfer Option of the balance of the canceled Card for the second copy;
- Select the desired user;
- Click Next;
- Click Quit.
After confirming, the credits will be released for the user to assign them to the new card through site www.cartaoriocard.com.br/paravoce within 48 (forty-eight) hours.
